Project Description: I am looking for an experienced embedded systems or IoT developer to design and implement a smart cat litter box control system. The project involves building an Arduino Uno core system with ESP32 WiFi integration, motion detection, and motor control functions. The motor will drive a conveyor belt system that will have a rake connected to it.
The system should feature:
Start/Stop Control
Speed Control (adjustable via potentiometer/slide potentiometer)
Reverse Motor Operation
Pause/Resume Functionality with Motion/Ultrasonic Detection
WiFi Remote Control (via ESP32 kit)
Notifications and basic integration (alerts when cycle is complete or if an issue occurs)
Available Components:
ESP32 Starter Kit (includes sensors, OLED display, relay, breadboard, resistors, capacitors, jumpers, etc.)
Arduino Uno
Motor Controllers (L298N driver board + other driver option)
Current Sensor Breakout
Adjustable DC-DC Buck Converter (20W with digital display)
Micro Limit Switches (Bump Lever)
Slide Potentiometer (10kΩ)
Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04 or similar)
Standard electronic components (wires, breadboards, resistors, capacitors, etc.)
