Smart 6-Bay Drone Charger

Job ID: 40525994

Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR

I need a seasoned hardware-and-firmware mind to turn my mechanical docking concept into a fully functioning six-bay charging station for drones. Each bay will handle anything from 3 S to 12 S Li-Po/Li-ion and must work autonomously, supporting standard charge, fast charge up to 2 C, discharge, and automatic storage mode. Live protection is non-negotiable: over-current, over-voltage, reverse-polarity, temperature limits, and poor-contact detection all have to be baked in.

An STM-based control or similar architecture is the platform of choice. Around that you’ll design the power electronics, choose connectors, and create the control, safety, and balancing logic. A ten-inch touchscreen should present real-time status for every bay—docked state, mode, pack voltage, current, temperature, SoC, health flags, and any alerts. Each battery or airframe will carry an RFID tag so the system can log cycles, date-stamped charge events, health trends, and end-of-life warnings.

I’m supplying the mechanical envelopes; you deliver everything electronic and digital:

• Complete schematics and PCB layouts ready for manufacture
• Embedded firmware for the STM or similar controller, including charge algorithms, safety interlocks, RFID handling, and data logging
• HMI software for the touchscreen with an intuitive multi-bay dashboard
• Test reports that prove charging accuracy, independent-bay isolation, and safety-trip performance

Acceptance is simple: plug in six different packs, watch each follow the chosen mode without interference, and verify that logged data appears correctly on the HMI and over USB/UART export. If you can demonstrate that, the job is done.
