Sliding Gate Controller PCB Design Review
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Need an experienced electronics engineer to review my 12VDC sliding-gate motor controller PCB before I fab it. Built around DRV8701ERGER H-bridge, BSC014N04LS FET pack, CH32V003F4P6 MCU, 12 mΩ shunt for current sense, and rotary encoder for stall detection. Handles 15A peak inrush (1s), then 4-6A steady. No motor-side fuse yet.
Focus on common gotchas: placement/thermal issues, trace widths/Kelvin shunt routing, decoupling/TVS/snubbers for noise/spikes, ground planes, and EMI/reliability tips.
