Senior Embedded Firmware Panel
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I am putting together a seasoned interview panel to help me vet candidates for an upcoming round of embedded-systems roles. I’m specifically looking for senior-level embedded systems developers—people with at least six years of hands-on experience in firmware development—to sit in on live technical interviews, probe problem-solving approaches, and evaluate depth of knowledge.
The focus will be pure firmware: boot-loaders, low-level register manipulation, peripheral drivers, and the practical realities of bringing code up on real hardware. You should be comfortable challenging a candidate on timing-critical routines, memory-constrained design choices, and debugging strategies with tools such as J-Link, OpenOCD, logic analyzers, or a good old oscilloscope.
Here’s how I see the collaboration working:
• Before each round I’ll share the job description, résumé, and any specific project context so you can tailor your questions.
• During the interview you’ll join me on a video call, lead the technical deep-dive, and note strengths or red flags as we go.
• Right afterward I’ll need a concise written assessment highlighting technical competence, communication clarity, and overall fit for the role.
Acceptance criteria for each session:
1. At least five targeted firmware questions covering architecture, code quality, and debugging.
2. Real-time scoring during the call (I’ll provide a simple template).
3. A final recommendation summarised in no more than one page within 24 hours.
If you have a track record of shipping production firmware on microcontrollers, love dissecting code on the spot, and can articulate feedback constructively, I’d value your expertise on this panel. Let’s make sure only the very best engineers move forward.
