I need a fully-functioning prototype of a portable lunchbox that can actively heat food up to 60 °C and cool it down to 4 °C at the press of a touchscreen control. The enclosure should be molded primarily from food-grade plastic; please keep the overall profile compact enough to fit in a standard backpack while leaving room for the insulation, Peltier or heating elements, battery pack, control board, and a small food compartment sensor.

Key functions I expect to see working on the bench:

• Touchscreen interface on the lid that lets the user toggle between Heat (60 °C) and Chill (4 °C) modes, with real-time temperature read-out.

• USB-C charging input feeding an internal rechargeable battery that can run at least one full heat cycle and one full cool cycle on a single charge.

• A simple LED indicator that lights when the box is at capacity and switches off once it is empty (an optical or weight sensor is fine, as long as it is reliable).

Deliverables
1. One assembled, test-ready prototype.
2. CAD files for the plastic housing, ready for injection-molding.
3. Schematics, PCB Gerbers, and firmware source for the control electronics.
4. A short video demo showing target temperatures reached and the LED “full” indicator in action.
5. Bill of materials with component part numbers and suppliers.

I will validate the work by measuring time-to-temperature for both modes, confirming battery recharge through the USB-C port, and verifying the indicator logic.
