Provisional Patent Application -- 2

Job ID: 40512845

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD

We are an early-stage hardware startup with a working V1 prototype of a wrist-worn consumer wellness device. The device combines a biosensor input with an embedded signal-processing system that triggers an automated physical-output response via an onboard actuator — operating as a closed loop without requiring user interaction.
We need to establish a US priority date via a provisional patent application before a planned public product launch and fundraising activity. Full technical details, prototype demonstration, and architecture documentation will be shared directly with the engaged attorney under NDA.

Scope of Work
We are looking for a registered USPTO patent attorney or patent agent to:

Review a confidential invention disclosure (provided post-engagement under NDA) and conduct a prior-art search to confirm novelty.
Draft a complete provisional patent application — specification, diagrams, and claims — covering the overall system architecture, the sensing/detection method, and the response-mechanism method.
File the application with the USPTO and confirm filing date and application number.

What We Will Provide (Post-NDA)

Detailed written invention disclosure
Demo video of the working prototype
Technical architecture notes and diagrams

Timeline
Time-sensitive — application must be filed within 5–7 business days of engagement, ahead of a planned public launch. Please only apply if you can realistically meet this.
Budget
For search, drafting, and filing (excluding USPTO government fees, paid separately).

Requirements
Must be a registered USPTO patent attorney or patent agent — please include your registration number for verification
Experience with consumer electronics, wearable devices, or biosensor/actuator systems strongly preferred
Comfortable signing a mutual NDA before receiving the full invention disclosure

Experience with applications spanning both hardware and embedded software/control-logic claims is a plus
