Programmable Coil Controller PCB Design

Job ID: 40366576

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a coil-driving concept on the bench and now need a professionally engineered PCB to turn it into a working prototype. The controller must provide fully programmable control of the coil and expose I2C, SPI, and UART headers so I can experiment with different host systems during testing. Power will come from a direct DC supply, so please size regulators, protection, and filtering with that in mind.

Here is what I need from you:

• Complete schematic capture showing the MCU or logic you choose, high-side/low-side drivers for the coil, protection components, and interface headers
• Multi-layer PCB layout ready for fabrication, including Gerbers, pick-and-place, and assembly drawings
• A concise Bill of Materials with manufacturer part numbers and estimated lead times
• Basic firmware or register map that demonstrates on/off timing, duty-cycle adjustment, and communication over I2C, SPI, and UART so I can verify the board immediately after assembly

I will review the design in Altium Designer or KiCad, so deliver in one of those formats. Once I confirm the proto works as expected—coil actuates under scripted commands, all three buses respond, and the board stays within thermal limits—the project is complete. Let me know your preferred tool chain, estimated turnaround, and any clarifying questions you have.
