Port SAME54 Firmware to SAME70

Job ID: 40050487

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a mature code-base running on a Microchip SAME54 (Cortex-M4) that now needs to live on a SAME70 (Cortex-M7) board. All reference manuals, schematics and pin-maps for both targets are on hand, as well as the full current project tree built under Atmel Studio / ASF4.

Your task is to migrate the project so it compiles cleanly for the SAME70, boots reliably, and exercises every peripheral we use today. Once the build is stable, I’d like you to stay on for a short joint test phase where we flash the new board, run through my existing regression scripts, and iron out anything that surfaces.

Peripherals that must be verified after the port:
• Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC)
• Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
• Serial Communication (UART / SPI / I2C)

During testing I can provide oscilloscope captures, loopback plugs and a CANalyzer-style trace if helpful. If you prefer MPLAB X and Harmony, that’s fine—just document any project-file changes so the repo stays reproducible.

Deliverables
1. Updated source tree targeting SAME70, building without warnings.
2. Brief migration notes highlighting clock tree, linker script and peripheral remap decisions.
3. Confirmation log or video showing the three interfaces above operating as expected on my hardware.

If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s get started right away—boards are on my bench and ready to flash.
