Phase 1 (schematics only) - Industrial Embedded Product Redesign (EasyEDA)
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Schematic Revision & PCB Design for Industrial Embedded Product (EasyEDA)
I am looking for an experienced hardware design engineer with proven expertise in industrial electronics, particularly products involving mixed-signal design, digital and analog isolation, and isolated power supplies.
This project is for an industrial product. The schematic has already been completed in EasyEDA. I require modifications to the existing design before proceeding to PCB layout.
Phase 1 – Schematic Revision
The selected person will:
* Review the existing EasyEDA schematic.
* Replace selected components with alternate components (including footprint changes).
* Add a new LCD module with a 7-pin connector (SPI/I²C interface).
* Update symbols, footprints, and libraries as required.
* Verify all power, signal, and communication connections after the modifications.
* Review the design and identify optional circuits/components that should not be populated on the PCB (DNP).
* Ensure the schematic is ready for PCB layout.
Phase 2 – PCB Design (Separate Milestone)
After approval of the revised schematic, the person will be invited to design the PCB.
The PCB will require careful consideration of:
* Digital and analog domain separation
* Galvanic isolation between domains
* Isolated DC-DC power supplies
* Creepage and clearance requirements
* High-accuracy analog signal routing
* Ground plane strategy (AGND/DGND/Field GND where applicable)
* EMI/EMC-aware layout practices
* Differential signal routing where required
* Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Required Experience
Please apply only if you have previous experience designing industrial or instrumentation products involving one or more of the following:
* Isolated analog and digital circuits
* Isolated DC-DC converters
* Digital isolators
* Precision analog front ends
* 4–20 mA transmitters/receivers
* RS-485 interfaces
* ESP32 or STM32-based embedded systems
* Mixed-signal PCB layout
* Industrial measurement or control equipment
Experience with products such as PLCs, industrial sensors, transmitters, process instrumentation, power monitoring equipment, medical electronics, or similar industrial products will be considered a significant advantage.
Deliverables for Phase 1
* Updated EasyEDA project
* Updated schematic
* Updated footprints and libraries (if required)
* ERC completed without critical errors
* List of all design changes
* List of DNP (Do Not Populate) components
* Schematic ready for PCB layout
Please Include in Your Proposal
* Examples of similar industrial hardware projects you have completed.
* Your experience with isolated power supplies and digital isolation.
* Your experience with mixed-signal PCB design.
* Confirmation that you are comfortable working with an existing EasyEDA project created by another engineer.
Important: I am looking for a long-term collaborator. The schematic revision is the first milestone. Successful completion will lead to the PCB layout and potentially future hardware revisions.
