I want to develop a Universal Programmer for HVAC and electronics repair applications. Please note the complete requirements below:
Hardware Requirements
1. Main MCU/FPGA – Powerful controller (STM32H7 series or equivalent) capable of handling UART, SPI, I²C, JTAG, SWD, BDM protocols.
2. PCB Design – Minimum 4-layer PCB with proper signal integrity for high-speed communication.
3. Voltage Support – Programmable level shifting for 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V.
4. Connectors – ISP header (MISO, MOSI, SCK, RESET, VCC, GND) and ZIF socket for DIP/SOP/PLCC/QFP/BGA packages.
5. Protection Circuits – Over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and ESD protection.
6. USB Interface – High-speed USB 2.0/3.0 for communication with PC.
Firmware Requirements
1. Support for multi-protocol drivers (UART, SPI, I²C, JTAG, SWD, BDM).
2. Ability to Read, Erase, Write, Verify MCU, EEPROM, Flash, NAND, eMMC.
3. Auto-detect target voltage and safe handling of chips.
4. Upgradable firmware via USB for adding new IC support.
PC Software (GUI)
1. User-friendly interface (Windows/Linux).
2. Options for chip selection, Read/Write/Erase/Verify, checksum display.
3. Status log + progress bar.
4. Chip database update system to add new devices in future.

1. EEPROMs: 24Cxx, 93Cxx, 25Qxx series.
2. MCUs: Renesas (RL78, RX), Nuvoton, ST (STM8/STM32), Microchip PIC, Atmel AVR.

1. Circuit Schematic + PCB Layout (EasyEDA/Altium)
2. Complete Firmware (C/C++ for MCU/FPGA)
3. PC Software Source Code (C#/Python with Qt GUI)
4. Initial Chip Database with above listed families.
5. Bill of Materials (BOM) with component details.
6. Testing + Debugging support until stable release.
