Onsite DSP Embedded Firmware for FFT Algo
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
DSP Firmware Engineer – RPM Measurement (TI C28069)
Overview:
We are seeking an engineer with hands-on experience in TI C2000 DSP firmware maintenance, for RPM measurement applications using the TMS320C28069. The role involves implementing targeted firmware changes on an existing codebase. A list of required changes has already been identified. All work is carried out on-site at our facility in Gurugram.
Work Conditions:
• On-site work only at our factory – Gurugram, Sector 37, Pace City-II. Remote work or code sharing outside the premises is not permitted.
• The engineer will work on a laptop provided by us. No personal devices to be used for development.
• A pre-defined list of firmware changes has been identified. The engineer is expected to implement these changes accurately and efficiently.
• Build testing and validation will be performed online on a stationary car (our vehicle) to monitor and measure any side-effects of firmware changes.
Your Mission:
• Manage the complete build process in TI Code Composer Studio – from source editing, compilation, and linking to generating the final binary.
• Flash and debug the firmware on the target hardware; validate RPM readings against known reference values.
• Identify and resolve any side-effects introduced by changes through online testing on the stationary vehicle.
Your Profile:
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Embedded Systems.
• Hands-on experience with TI Code Composer Studio (latest 20.4) and C2000Ware SDK. Conversant with project configuration, compiler and linker settings (.cmd, .lib), C2000Ware integration, and generating debug/release builds.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify an existing firmware codebase FAST and with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strong debugging skills using CCS watch windows, real-time expressions, and hardware debug probes
