Neurostimulation Headband for Cognitive Recovery

Job ID: 40052894

Budget: $300 – $400 USD

I’m developing an adult-sized wearable headband that delivers gentle, targeted neurostimulation to restore healthy neural pathways and, in turn, improve overall cognitive function. The device must measurably elevate attention, focus, processing speed, and problem-solving skills for users whose brains are currently underperforming because of injury, illness, or chronic stress.

Here’s the vision:

• Hardware. Slim, comfortable headband housing a safe, rechargeable power source, adjustable electrodes, and an embedded control board capable of multiple stimulation protocols (tDCS, tACS, or another evidence-backed method you propose).
• Sensing & feedback. Lightweight EEG or comparable sensors to detect baseline activity and adapt stimulation in real time, feeding data wirelessly to a companion mobile app/dashboard.
• Software. Intuitive firmware plus a cross-platform app that lets users initiate sessions, track progress, and receive personalized cognitive training recommendations.
• Safety & compliance. Skin-friendly materials, temperature safeguards, automatic shut-off, and design documentation ready for future IEC/ISO and FDA submissions.

Deliverables I need from you:

1. Full technical schematic, PCB layout, and parts list.
2. Electrode placement map and ergonomic industrial design files (CAD).
3. Firmware source code with documented API hooks for the mobile app.
4. Prototype build guide and a brief validation protocol outlining how we’ll confirm gains in attention, processing speed, and problem-solving.

If you’ve engineered neurotech wearables, bio-feedback devices, or similar IoT hardware—and you can back it up with working examples—let’s talk.
