Neuro-Stim Headband Prototype Development

I’m building a wearable headband whose main job is to safely stimulate the nervous system and guide the brain back to its normal baseline. At this stage I need a complete prototype—electronics, ergonomics, firmware and a simple companion mobile app that lets the wearer select and adjust stimulation programs.

The exact modality (electrical, magnetic or a hybrid) is still open, so I’ll lean on your expertise to help me decide which approach, waveform, and intensity profile best matches current neuro-modulation research and safety standards. Once chosen, the device should deliver repeatable sessions and log usage data that the app can display in an easy dashboard.

Because the user will interact exclusively through a phone, the headband must expose a reliable BLE interface. I’m happy with a React Native or Flutter front end as long as we keep the architecture modular for future feature additions.

Deliverables
• Hardware schematic, BOM, and 3D-printable enclosure model
• Firmware with BLE command set and data logging
• iOS / Android prototype app (basic UI, session control, data sync)
• Bench test results verifying output accuracy and safety limits

Acceptance is based on a working, self-contained prototype that establishes a stable stimulation session from the app, records session data, and passes bench safety tests we define together.
