Mobiflight Prosim Throttle Stepper Integration
Budget: $30 – $70 USD
I have a complete set of components—Nema17 stepper motor, TB6600 driver, Arduino-based Mobiflight board, and a licensed Prosim suite—and I am ready to bring them together so the stepper drives the throttle axis smoothly and repeatably inside my home cockpit.
What I need from you is a clear, reliable path from wiring to calibrated motion:
• Hardware: a pin-by-pin wiring diagram that shows exactly how the Nema17, TB6600 driver, limit switches and power supply connect to the Mobiflight board, plus driver current/micro-step settings that preserve torque without overheating.
• Firmware & Mobiflight: the correct Mobiflight device definition for the stepper, parameter values (speed, acceleration, backlash compensation), and any required custom offsets.
• Prosim 737 linkage: instructions or files that bind the Mobiflight stepper channel to Prosim’s throttle position, including feedback so the motor follows both manual lever movement and autoflight commands.
• Test procedure: a short checklist I can run to confirm end-stop detection, zero calibration, and smooth travel across the full range.
I'm using Arduino device Mega 2560
Please keep the workflow beginner-friendly—screenshots, annotated photos, or short clips are welcome so I can replicate the setup later. Once everything moves reliably in SimConnect/Prosim and the hardware survives a few power cycles, I will consider the job complete.
