Hello,
I am looking for an experienced Embedded Hardware and Firmware Engineer to design a
commercial-grade Smart Dimmable LED Ceiling Light. The product must be compatible with
Wi-Fi, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and a mobile app.
Below are the complete project requirements:
1. Hardware Requirements:
• Microcontroller: ESP32-C3 (Preferred for Wi-Fi, BLE, and Matter protocol support).
• Power Supply: 90V - 265V AC Input. Needs a reliable isolated AC-DC Flyback
constant current driver.
• LED Load: 12W to 15W LED array (SMD 2835 on an Aluminum MCPCB).
• Dimming: Smooth PWM dimming from 1% to 100% without visible flicker (Zero-cross
detection if needed, or direct PWM to driver IC DIM pin).
• Protection: Must include Surge protection (MOV up to 4kV), over-current, and thermal
protection.
• Form Factor: The PCB must fit inside a standard 3-inch or 4-inch circular ceiling
downlight enclosure.
2. Firmware & Smart Features:
• Ecosystem: Prefer using ESP-RainMaker or native Matter protocol for quick mobile
app generation and Alexa/Google Home integration.
• Core Functions: ON/OFF control, Brightness control (Dimming), and Voice Command
execution.
• OTA: Must support Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates.
3. Expected Deliverables (What I need from you): I need manufacturing-ready files to send to
my PCBA assembler in India.
1. Schematics (.pdf and source files): Complete circuit diagram.
2. Gerber Files: Standard RS-274X format for PCB manufacturing.
3. BOM (Bill of Materials): Excel sheet with exact part numbers, component values, and
supplier links (preferably LCSC or Mouser) with cost estimation.
4. CPL / Pick-and-Place File: For automated SMT assembly.
5. Firmware Source Code: Well-documented C/C++ code along with step-by-step
instructions on how to flash it into the ESP32 chip.
