KiCad Schematic and Board Layout Review and corrections
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a KiCad schematic and board layout and now need a second set of expert eyes before sending it to fabrication at JLCPCB. The board carries two USB-C 5v 3a power passthrough channels that can be switched on or off by two TPS22965DSGR, plus a temperature sensor for basic thermal monitoring.
Everything (may) currently be mapped to “basic” JLCPCB parts where possible to keep the BOM cost-effective. I’d like confirmation that each footprint matches the part number, no extended-library components slipped in, and that any obvious layout or signal-integrity improvements are flagged or replace components with "basic" JLCPCB component's if needed.
I have attached my Kicad 10 project in zip format. Feel free to check it out and see if its something you know you can go from 0 to 100% without any issues. I will be creating the boards right after confirmation of all parts and layout so make sure you know its going to work since i wont be able to test it out prior to sending it to get made and populated.
Deliverables
1. A short written report PDF listing any issues found, why they matter and suggested fixes.
2. Mark-ups on the KiCad schematic and/or PCB file showing exact locations of the problems.
3. An updated BOM if you recommend part substitutions that keep us in the Standard tier.
