JLCPCB SMD Assembly KiCad Files

Project Overview

I am looking for an experienced PCB designer with KiCad and JLCPCB assembly experience to prepare a simple PCB for SMD assembly.

The circuit is already designed and consists primarily of:

NE555 timer
CD4017 decade counter
Passive components (resistors and capacitors)
LEDs
Power connector

The schematic and PCB layout are complete in KiCad. I need the project prepared for JLCPCB SMT assembly.

Scope of Work

The successful freelancer will:

Review the existing KiCad project.
Verify footprints are suitable for JLCPCB assembly.
Replace any unavailable components with compatible LCSC/JLCPCB Basic or Preferred parts where appropriate.
Assign correct LCSC part numbers.
Generate:
BOM (Bill of Materials)
CPL (Component Placement List / Pick and Place file)
Gerber files (if required)
Verify the project uploads successfully into the JLCPCB SMT Assembly system.
Identify any assembly issues before production.
Return the updated KiCad project.
Deliverables
Updated KiCad project
JLCPCB-ready BOM
Component Placement (CPL) file
Gerber files
List of all LCSC part numbers used
Brief notes describing any component substitutions made
