I’m building a consumer-friendly home-automation product that focuses on two core features: smart security and climate control. Connectivity will be entirely Wi-Fi, so every module—whether it’s a door sensor, thermostat interface, or companion mobile app—must communicate reliably over standard 2.4 GHz networks without proprietary hubs.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Hardware design and rapid-prototype advice for low-power Wi-Fi nodes (ESP32, RTL8710, or similar).
• Embedded firmware that pairs securely, supports OTA updates, and exposes REST/MQTT endpoints for security events and HVAC commands.
• A lightweight cloud back end (AWS IoT Core, Firebase, or what you recommend) to aggregate data, push notifications, and enforce user roles.
• Reference mobile code (Flutter/React Native) to demonstrate arming/disarming, temperature scheduling, and real-time alerts.
• Brief, well-commented documentation that lets my in-house team extend the work after hand-over.
Deliverables are accepted once each component operates together in a demo environment and passes basic penetration testing for the security layer.
