Infrared Device Settings Optimization
Budget: $375 – $1,000 USD
I have a commerical infrared device I want to push beyond its stock limits by unlocking and fine-tuning the voltage-gating parameters, and explore any additional user-interface controls that govern current (U/I). My end-goal is better overall performance without compromising stability or safety.
You will need to access an unknown programmer interface via a 6-pin connector, determine the language, locate the relevant developer-level menus etc, and apply changes. Experience with low-level hardware interfaces a must.
Acceptance criteria:
• Device boots and functions normally after modifications
• Voltage and current settings report the new, target values
• Device test and verification prior to final payment
• Some minor hardware modifications may be necessary (proprietary 6-pin comms cable)
Warranty flags etc are of no importance.
If you know your way around embedded consumer electronics and have successfully tuned similar hardware, let’s talk.
