I need a complete electronic and mechanical design for a household-grade LPG gas detector that will be mounted in the kitchen. The unit must run from a 230 V AC mains supply and drive a 24 V, normally-closed solenoid valve through an on-board relay. An easy-to-read LED display will show status, alarm level, and basic fault codes.

Core requirements
• Sensing element: any reliable, readily available LPG sensor will do—I have no brand preference, so choose what best balances performance, lifespan, and cost.
• Compliance: the finished design has to be ready for ATEX (or an equivalent) approval. Please factor appropriate component selection, spacing, enclosure venting, and intrinsic-safety practices into the schematics and layout.
• Output logic: relay contact rated for the 24 V NC valve plus a test push-button and audible alert.
• Power: integrate a small, isolated power supply module or discrete supply stage to step 230 V AC down safely for logic and sensor heating.
• User interface: three-digit (or similar) LED readout, bi-colour status LED, and a hush/reset button.

Deliverables
1. Block diagram, detailed schematics, and complete BOM (with manufacturer part numbers).
2. PCB layout files (Gerber, drill, pick-and-place) and 3D enclosure model suited to wall mounting.
3. Firmware source code and compiled binary ready to flash.
4. Test procedure covering calibration, fail-safe verification, and initial self-test routine.
5. Brief dossier outlining how the design meets ATEX or comparable requirements, so a certification body can pick it up without re-engineering.

Acceptance is based on compiling the design, producing one working prototype that drives the NC valve and shows gas concentration on the LED display, and providing documentation that a certifier can use directly.
