Hardware Gate Process Design

I am finalising an embedded-system product and need a clear, repeatable gate process that carries the project from late-stage testing through to a clean market launch. The framework must slot into the Testing & Launch phase we are already in and explicitly cover both functional testing and compliance testing activities.
What I expect from you
• A concise, stage-by-stage gate map that shows the exact decision points, owners and required artefacts from now until shipment.
• Checklists and template documents for each gate that verify functional performance and confirm we have met ISO standards, CE marking and FCC compliance.
• Recommendations for the most efficient way to capture evidence (test reports, risk assessments, traceability matrices) so auditors can sign off without delays.
• Practical guidance on tooling—whether that is a lightweight spreadsheet tracker or integration with existing Jira / Confluence workflows—to keep the process transparent for engineering, quality and marketing alike.
Acceptance criteria
The deliverable will be accepted once the gate flow, checklists and templates are delivered in editable format, and a brief walkthrough shows how every ISO, CE and FCC requirement is tied to a specific gate review.
Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must
Process should be developed in PowerPoints and follow that with excel deliverables
