4K HDMI TV PCB & Firmware Engineering
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
Pilot : PCB Design and Firmware Engineering for 4K HDMI TV
Freelancer Job Post: PCB Design + Firmware Engineer Needed for 4K HDMI TV (Pilot Project)
Project Overview
We are seeking experienced PCB Design and Firmware Engineers for a pilot project focused on developing a 4K HDMI TV streaming module.
This pilot phase will evaluate design feasibility, performance, and collaboration quality before scaling to full production.
About the Pilot
This is an initial prototype (pilot phase) of a larger product roadmap.
We are looking for 2–5 engineers skilled in both hardware and firmware development.
Detailed specifications will be shared after NDA signing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement custom PCB for 4K HDMI input/output with SoC integration.
Develop and optimize firmware for HDMI signal processing, streaming, and performance.
Ensure efficient power management, heat control, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with our internal R&D team during onsite pilot execution.
Provide cost-optimized component selection and ensure efficient board manufacturing.
Preferred Experience
Proven experience in PCB design using Altium, KiCad, or equivalent tools.
Strong background in embedded firmware development (C/C++).
Familiarity with ARM-based SoCs, HDMI capture, and video encoding workflows.
Understanding of Linux BSP, GStreamer, or WebRTC (added advantage).
Hands-on knowledge of hardware debugging, bootloaders, and drivers.
Special Preference
We strongly prefer engineers who have:
Existing connections with PCB manufacturers or component suppliers (especially in Japan or China).
Ability to source or fabricate low-cost prototype boards through verified vendors.
Experience in cost optimization without compromising quality.
Terms & Compensation
Duration: Short-term pilot (potential transition to full-scale project).
Confidentiality: NDA to be signed before disclosing detailed architecture.
Ownership: All designs, firmware, and IP developed will remain the property of our company.
