Embedded Systems Engineer (Texas Instruments/Hercules)
Role Overview:
I are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software on Texas Instruments Hercules safety microcontrollers, specifically the RM46 series, using Code Composer Studio (CCS).
Key Responsibilities:
Write, debug, and optimize high-quality code in Embedded C.
Configure and initialize hardware peripherals using TI HALCoGen.
Develop firmware for the RM46 Controller (Cortex-R4F architecture).
Work with hardware tools like the Event Logger Card (EVL) to test and validate code.
Perform system-level debugging using JTAG/XDS debuggers within the CCS 12.x environment.
Required Technical Skills:
Languages: Expert in Embedded C.
IDE: Experience with Code Composer Studio (CCS) version 12.x or similar.
Microcontrollers: Hands-on experience with TI Hercules (RM4x/RM46) or ARM Cortex-R series.
Tools: Proficiency in HALCoGen (Hardware Abstraction Layer Generator).
Protocols: Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
