We need an experienced embedded systems / biomedical hardware consultant to design and develop a compact vitals and body composition acquisition subsystem for integration into an existing diagnostic hardware platform.

The system must capture BP, SpO2, PPG-derived respiratory rate, heart rate from PPG/BP, temperature, height, weight, BMI, and body composition values such as body fat %, visceral fat, muscle mass, body water %, bone mass, BMR, metabolic age, and segmental distribution where technically feasible (through bio impedance).

The work includes sensor/module selection, hardware architecture, PCB/control board design if required, firmware, Windows/Linux compatible local service/API, local session-wise data handling, calibration workflows, validation against reference devices, and production-readiness documentation.

The final system should not be a one-off prototype. It must be designed for repeatable manufacturing, assembly, calibration, debugging, and servicing in India.

The consultant should be able to guide the full technical line: component selection, vendor recommendations, assembly process, calibration process, testing, troubleshooting, and handover.

No specific communication architecture is pre-mandated. USB, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, Ethernet, CAN, MCU aggregation, or any suitable combination may be proposed. The priority is a reliable, maintainable, fast-to-build system that exposes clean final results to the host software through a local API/service.

Expected deliverables:
- Proposed architecture and sensor/module selection
- Hardware design, wiring, PCB files if required, BOM and vendor list
- Firmware for sensor acquisition and processing
- Windows/Linux compatible local service/API
- Local session-wise result handling and logs
- Calibration and validation workflows
- Assembly, QA, debugging and manufacturing documentation
- Source code, design files and full editable handover package

Preference will be given to consultants with prior experience in embedded medical devices, vitals monitoring systems, BP/SpO2/body composition systems, sensor integration, firmware, PCB design, calibration and production handover.
