Electronics Hardware Consulting Support

Job ID: 40531730

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m looking for a seasoned electronics engineer who can serve as a sounding board for a brand-new hardware device we have in the works. You’ll dive into our current architecture, schematics, and early PCB layouts to spot technical risks, recommend stronger component choices, refine power-management strategy, and keep an eye on manufacturability so the path from concept to prototype—and later, full production—stays smooth.

You should feel at home reviewing mixed-signal designs, embedded systems interfaces, and low-power circuitry, then translating that insight into clear, actionable guidance my team can implement quickly. Familiarity with Altium, KiCad, or a comparable PCB design tool, along with hands-on experience taking products through functional, environmental, and reliability testing, will help you hit the ground running.

Deliverables
• Written review memo summarising findings and prioritised recommendations
• Annotated schematics / PCB mark-ups highlighting issues and improvements
• A follow-up video call (about an hour) to walk through the feedback and next steps

I’ll supply all existing design files, block diagrams, and performance targets once we kick off. If you’ve helped other startups steer a design from first idea through manufacturing, let me know how you’d approach this engagement and share a couple of relevant victories.
