ESP32-Tuya WiFi Webasto Controller
Budget: $25 – $60 USD
I need firmware and wiring guidance that lets an ESP32 with Wi-Fi speak Tuya so I can switch my Webasto water heater on and off from the Tuya Smart-Life app.
Core logic
• Read three analog temperature sensors: water-in, water-out, and cabin air.
• Shut the heater down automatically whenever the water-out sensor reaches 65 °C.
• Expose a basic manual panel inside Smart-Life (simple on / off tile plus live temperature readouts). No fancy graphics—just clear values and a reliable toggle.
The job is finished when:
1. I can flash the code to an off-the-shelf ESP32, power it up, pair it with Tuya, and see the three temperatures and power toggle inside the app.
2. The heater cuts out every time water-out hits the 65 °C threshold and stays off until I reactivate it.
3. All source files, pin maps, and a quick start PDF are in my hands.
Please respond with a detailed project proposal outlining the Tuya MCU or Wi-Fi SDK you prefer, how you will map the analog inputs, and your test plan for the 65 °C safety cutoff.
