ESP IDF BLE Firmware Development & PCB Design

Job ID: 39861590

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m building a compact, two-layer board around an ESP 8685 and need a complete solution that covers both firmware and hardware.

Firmware scope
• Develop ESP-IDF firmware focused on home-automation control of lighting circuits (on/off, dimming or PWM where appropriate).
• Include Wi-Fi provisioning and OTA update capability so I can push future revisions without physical access.
• Publish clean, well-commented source code and a short README explaining build and flash steps.

Hardware scope
• Design a 2-layer PCB that hosts the ESP32 module, a power stage suitable for driving the light loads (triac, MOSFET or relay—whichever you feel best fits), basic protection components, and headers for flashing/debug.
• Provide Gerbers, PCB and schematic files (KiCad or Altium preferred), along with a complete BOM specifying footprint-proven parts that are easy to source.
• Keep the board footprint as compact as practical for wall-switch back-box installation.

Integration & validation
I’ll test the first prototype here, so please include:
1. Pin-mapping document showing how the firmware matches the PCB.
2. Guidance on safe AC isolation and any enclosure constraints.
3. One revision round for tweaks after I assemble the initial board.

If you’ve shipped ESP-IDF projects or light-control boards before, let me see a quick example. Looking forward to collaborating on a reliable, extensible base I can build future home-automation devices on.
