ECU Test PCB Design

Job ID: 40311995

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I need a purpose-built printed circuit board that lets me bench-test engine control units for both cars and motorcycles. The board has to accept the standard ECU pin-out used on common automotive and bike harnesses, route power safely, break out sensors/actuators to test points, and give me clean headers for CAN, K-Line, and any other diagnostic lines so I can flash and log in real time.

Because this is for mixed vehicle work, flexibility matters: interchangeable connectors or an adaptable footprint that handles typical 12 V systems, ignition drivers, injector channels, and a few spare IO lines. Protection components (reverse polarity, fly-back, over-current) should already be in the design so nothing fries if I swap ECUs quickly.

I’m ready to move now and would like the first revision as soon as realistically possible.

Deliverables
• Complete schematic (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle)
• Layered PCB layout with clear labeling
• BOM with readily available parts
• Gerber, drill, and pick-and-place files ready for fabrication
• Brief test guide confirming all rails and signals operate correctly when an ECU is attached

I’ll review each milestone immediately; once everything matches the spec and the board can power an ECU on the bench without fault, we’re done.
