Custom PCB with Encoder Interface

Job ID: 40196348

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m building a new piece of consumer-electronics gear and need a production-ready PCB that talks flawlessly to a rotary encoder. The board’s single must-have feature is a clean, reliable encoder interface—no radios or extra frills—so the design can stay compact and cost-effective.

Here’s what I’ll hand over after NDA: a schematic, mechanical envelope, and desired connector locations. From there I’m looking for you to complete the full hardware package: schematic capture, PCB layout, clear routing around the encoder channels, and all manufacturing outputs.

Deliverables
• Source files from Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or Eagle (your choice)
• Gerber, drill, and pick-and-place files ready for JLCPCB fabrication
• Full BOM with current component links and pricing
• Short design note outlining debounce, filtering, and any EMI shielding you applied around the rotary encoder traces

Acceptance criteria
1. Rotary encoder signals read true up to my test limit without bounce-induced errors.
2. Board fits the outline I’ll provide.
3. Your files pass DRC and manufacture-ability checks with zero errors.

If your portfolio includes consumer boards that integrate encoders, I’d love to see examples when you respond so we can move quickly toward production.
