Custom Industrial RP2040 PCB

Job ID: 40453625

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I’m building a real-time monitoring device around the Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040) and need a robust, industrial-grade PCB that keeps everything tight and reliable. Although extra features like extensive data logging or remote control may follow later, the immediate goal is a rock-solid board that can sit inside a control cabinet and survive 24 V environments.

Core functionality to integrate
• Ethernet via W5500
• RS-485 transceiver with screw-terminal access
• 24 V DC input stepped down to stable 5 V/3.3 V rails
• UART header, status LEDs and an onboard RJ-45 connector

Design constraints
• Compact footprint is important; help me keep the enclosure slim.
• Proper grounding, controlled-impedance Ethernet routing and neat separation of digital/analog grounds are critical.
• Mandatory protection: over-voltage, reverse-polarity and current-limiting on the 24 V input. If you have additional surge or ESD tricks that won’t blow the budget, I’m open.

Deliverables (KiCad preferred)
1. Complete schematic with clearly labelled nets and reference designators
2. PCB layout ready for industrial fabrication, including copper pours and keep-outs
3. Gerber, drill and pick-and-place files
4. Structured BOM with manufacturer part numbers and availability notes
5. All original project files for future edits

If you’ve tackled similar Pico-based or Ethernet/RS-485 boards before, a quick screenshot or link to your work will help me move faster in selecting the right partner.

I’m ready to answer any mechanical or enclosure questions you might have so we can lock dimensions early and keep revisions minimal. Looking forward to seeing how you would approach the design and protect this board for the factory floor.
