Custom High-Power Linux PCB Design

Job ID: 39838419

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m commissioning a ground-up single-board computer that boots mainstream Linux and is purpose-built for embedded systems which need serious processing muscle. The design has to integrate a Cat-4 LTE modem and on-board dual-band Wi-Fi while keeping signal integrity and thermal performance firmly under control.

Starting with a clean sheet, you’ll select a capable application processor, lay out the power tree, memory, storage, RF front-end, antennas and all supporting circuitry, then produce production-ready files. I expect professional-grade schematics, PCB layout, BOM and Gerbers (Altium Designer, KiCad or Cadence are fine) together with basic bring-up instructions so my firmware team can load Linux and validate peripherals.

Acceptance will hinge on:

• clean boot of a recent LTS kernel
• verified Cat-4 LTE attach and data transfer over the chosen modem
• stable 2.4 / 5 GHz Wi-Fi link at benchmarked throughput
• sustained high-load CPU operation within the specified temperature envelope

If you have proven experience delivering compact, high-performance Linux hardware with integrated cellular and Wi-Fi radios, I’d like to see your proposal and a timeline that gets us to first prototypes quickly.
