Custom WT32-ETH01 Expansion PCB

Job ID: 39913220

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m building a home-automation device around the WT32-ETH01 module and need a new PCB that folds several extras into a single, compact board.

Core requirements
• Keep the WT32-ETH01 as the heart of the design.
• Add an onboard RS232 interface for legacy serial equipment.
• Integrate a discrete Ethernet connector/module as the primary network port.
• Break out a clean programming mechanism—either a dedicated USB-to-UART bridge or an easily accessible header—for hassle-free firmware upload.
• Include at least 3 addressable LED (with current-limit resistor) as a visible status indicator.

Deliverables
1. Schematic showing all nets, power domains, and level-shifting where required.
2. PCB layout ready for fabrication (Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place).
3. Bill of materials with part numbers that can be sourced from a mainstream supplier.
4. Brief design note explaining key decisions and any recommended enclosure footprints.

I prefer EasyEda, but Eagle or Altium files are fine as long as full source files accompany the output. Please make the board footprint as compact as practical while leaving room for hand-soldering prototypes.

This first iteration only needs to be a functional prototype; I’ll handle firmware once I have a tested board.
