Project Overview:
I require an experienced PCB designer to review my existing KiCad schematic and perform the complete PCB layout for a custom-shaped board. The project is for a hobbyist motor controller built around an ESP32.

The primary goal is to create a compact, reliable PCB that fits within a specific 3D-printed enclosure. I am a beginner in PCB design and need an expert to ensure my schematic is sound and the layout follows best practices, especially concerning power management and module integration.

Scope of Work & Key Tasks:
1. Schematic Review:
- Thoroughly review the provided KiCad schematic for any errors, omissions, or potential issues.
- Provide suggestions for improvements regarding component selection, circuit protection, and signal integrity.
- Verify that all component symbols are correct and have appropriate footprints assigned.

2. PCB Layout & Routing:
Perform component placement based on the provided custom board outline.
Route all traces on a 2-layer board, adhering to best practices for power and signal lines.
Implement ground planes (copper pours) for improved performance and noise reduction.
Ensure the final design is optimized for manufacturability (DFM).

Physical & Technical Specifications:
- Board Shape: Custom shape, which is already defined in the .kicad_pcb file.
- Physical Constraints: The layout must leave a clear area of at least 30x20mm for an internally mounted speaker.
- Connector Placement: All JST-XH connectors must be placed with sufficient clearance for mating connectors and their wires.
- Layers: 2-Layer PCB, standard 1.6mm FR-4.

Key On-Board Components:
- Power: LM2596S-5 (12V to 5V Buck), MC34063AD (5V to 10V Boost)
- Control: MCP23017_ML (GPIO Extender)
- Sensors: MMC5603 (Magnetometer)
- Motor Driver: TMC6300-LA

Off-Board Connections (via JST-XH Connectors):
- ESP32 (VBUS, GND, 3V3, GPIO17, GPIO18, GPIO19, SDA, SCL, Spkr+, Spkr-)
- 10V Gimbal Motor (iFlight iPower 2804)

- WS2812B LED Strip
- Speaker (MX1.25 Connector)

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven expertise in PCB design and layout using KiCad.
Strong background in electronics, particularly with power converters and microcontroller circuits.
Experience designing compact and/or custom-shaped PCBs.
Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
