Custom BeagleBone Light Pod PCB

Job ID: 40364722

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I need a complete PCB solution for a BeagleBone-based light pod whose primary purpose is, quite simply, “Lightpod.”
The concept is already proven on a breadboard; now I want a production-ready board that consolidates the BeagleBone, LED drivers and all supporting circuitry into a compact, manufacturable form factor.

What I expect from you
• Schematic capture that respects BeagleBone design guidelines and pin-muxing constraints
• Optimised PCB layout compatible with standard four-layer fabrication, mindful of thermal paths for high-current LED channels
• Clean, clearly annotated BOM with sourcing that avoids hard-to-find parts
• Manufacturing outputs (Gerbers, drill files, assembly drawings) plus original design files so I can iterate later in KiCad/Altium

Acceptance criteria
The board boots the BeagleBone reliably, delivers stable power to the light pod channels under full load, and passes a basic DRC check from the fab house with zero show-stoppers.

I’m happy to talk through mechanical boundaries, LED current requirements and any extras you feel would future-proof the design. If you’ve shipped BeagleBone or LED-heavy boards before, that’s a big plus—please mention it when you respond.
