Compact PCB Design – Battery Powered, USB-C
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m ready to move an embedded concept into hardware and need a skilled PCB designer to lay out an ultra-compact, circular, 2-layer board. The design pulls together several subsystems:
• USB-C charging for a single-cell Li-Po
• On-board power management with protection and efficient conversion
• Discrete LED control lines for status indication
• A high-frequency ultrasonic driver and its matching network
Space is at a premium—think wearable-class tight. Please route with that in mind, respecting differential pair rules around the USB-C port and keeping the ultrasonic section isolated to minimise EMI. I’m flexible on the CAD package (KiCad are fine); choose whichever lets you iterate fastest.
Deliverables
1. Schematic, well-annotated
2. Optimised board layout (≤ X mm diameter; height under Y mm—let’s discuss)
3. Manufacturing outputs: Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place, and a tidy BOM with footprints and part numbers
4. Simple assembly drawing so my contract manufacturer can build a first batch without questions
I’ll review the layout in 48 hours once shared and sign off when DRC is clean, silkscreen is legible at 1 mm text, and power/ground planes show no thermal issues. Let me know your typical turnaround for first concepts and how you prefer to handle quick design tweaks along the way.
