Boosted ESP32C6 with LoRa SX1262 Development
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Currently we use XIAO ESP32C6 (https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/xiao_pin_multiplexing_esp32c6/ ) with Wio-SX1262 (https://www.seeedstudio.com/Wio-SX1262-for-XIAO-p-6379.html) .
Basically we need ESP32C6 with LoRa sx1262. Only changes we need are more memory , AC/DC converter and buttons.
System Requirements
MCU:
ESP32‑C6 with 8 MB flash (XIAO has only 4MB)
Radio:
LoRa SX1262 (868 MHz).
Power Supply:
Input: 230 VAC
AC/DC converter: A small module such as HLK‑PM03 (or equivalent) providing 3.3 V as the main rail.
Optional 5 V rail: Can be generated using a small step‑up/step‑down converter or a separate module if needed.
Programming Interface:
USB‑C, same approach as the Seeed XIAO — using the native USB of the ESP32‑C6 (no external USB‑UART bridge required).
Interfaces:
1 or 2 × I²C (1 or to pairs of SDA/SCL exposed on connectors). 3v3 and GND to power up sensors (1 or 2 pairs )
Buttons
1 or 2 buttons we can program.
PCB Dimensions:
25 mm × 55 mm (probably PCB will be bigger. it is ok) 25 x 55 is ideal.
RF:
On‑board antenna, e.g., Ignion Trio (multiband, but used here for 868 MHz).
