I’m developing a microcontroller-based embedded system that will sit inside a vehicle and act as the central hub for sensor integration and data acquisition. The core of the job is full-cycle design and development: selecting the right MCU family, creating the schematic and PCB layout, writing the firmware, and validating that the board reliably collects, timestamps, and streams data from multiple automotive-grade sensors.

Hands-on experience in both embedded C/C++ and practical electrical or automotive environments is essential because the design must stand up to temperature, vibration, and EMI constraints found in vehicles. Familiarity with CAN, LIN, or similar in-vehicle networks is a plus; the final board will need to forward selected sensor packets to the main ECU.

Deliverables
• Complete hardware design files (schematic, PCB, BOM).
• Well-documented firmware that boots the MCU, initializes all peripherals, and publishes sensor data over a chosen bus or UART test port.
• A brief verification report showing stable operation across at least two temperature points and successful data capture from all target sensors.
