I have a compact city-oriented car that I want to convert into a true hybrid: an internal-combustion engine takes care of propulsion while fuel is available, and the on-board battery pack must take over seamlessly as soon as the tank runs low. The switchover has to be fully automatic—no toggles, keys, or apps to press.

To make that possible I need a complete control strategy, hardware layout, and integration guide that ties together:

• an automatic IC-to-battery change-over controller
• fuel-level, battery-charge, and engine-temperature sensors feeding the logic
• clear wiring and CAN/OBD interfaces so the existing dash can display status

City driving means frequent stops, so regenerative charging during engine use is important; when the motor is running I want the alternator (or a dedicated generator) topping up the pack efficiently without over-charging.

Deliverables I must see before sign-off:
1. Block diagram and schematic for the hybrid powertrain, showing sensor placement and controller I/O.
2. Control algorithm flowchart or code (Arduino, STM32, or similar MCU) with threshold values for automatic switching.
3. Bill of materials with commercially available components easy to source in small quantities.
4. Step-by-step integration notes so a competent mechanic/electrician can replicate the build.

Provide the package in PDF plus original editable files (CAD, Eagle/KiCad, or code) so I can iterate later.
