machine, as shown in the following block diagram, with one input, X, and one output, Z. The
detector examines a string of 0’s and 1’s applied to X input and generates an output Z=1 only
when a specific sequence (e.g. 1001011) is detected. Each student is given a unique sequence,
which is randomly generated 6-bit or 7-bit binary
