WordPress Update with CRM Integration
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
Project: WordPress Website Update + Email Capture Setup (Coaching Practice)
Overview
I’m a leadership and mindset coach with an existing WordPress website.
I’m updating the site to be more current, clearer, and more useful — with a strong focus on email capture and long-term relationship building, not sales funnels or aggressive marketing.
I am intentionally moving away from Kajabi-style all-in-one platforms and want a WordPress-first solution that is simple, sustainable, and easy for me to manage.
⸻
Objectives
The updated website should:
1. Feel calm, professional, and credible (not salesy)
2. Make it easy for people to:
• Book an exploratory conversation with me, or
• Join my email list to access thoughtful resources
3. Capture email addresses in a way that:
• Is respectful and low pressure
• Supports segmentation
• Works even if I’m not actively “launching” or promoting
4. Be easy for me to maintain after handover
⸻
Scope of Work
1. WordPress Website Refresh
• Review and lightly update the existing WordPress site
• Improve:
• Layout and visual hierarchy
• Mobile responsiveness
• Navigation clarity
• Calls-to-action (without making the site feel sales-driven)
• Update or refine key pages:
• Home
• About
• Work With Me
• Resources
• Blog
• Contact
This is not a full rebrand — clarity and usability matter more than visual trends.
⸻
2. Email Capture & Marketing Setup
I need a clean, reliable way to capture email addresses from my website.
Requirements:
• Embedded signup forms on key pages
• Optional popup or slide-in (tasteful and minimal)
• Segmentation/tagging based on interests
• Basic automations:
• Welcome email
• Resource delivery
MailerLite is one option, but I am open to alternatives if you can clearly explain:
• Why you recommend it
• Ongoing costs
• Ease of use for a solo business
I do not want:
• Heavy CRMs
• Complex funnels
• Expensive ongoing monthly fees
⸻
3. Booking & Integration (Lightweight)
• Integrate a simple booking flow for exploratory conversations
• Calendar + meeting link automation preferred
• Stripe integration helpful (payments are handled separately via Xero)
⸻
What I Am NOT Looking For
• Kajabi-centric builds
• Funnel-heavy or hype-driven marketing
• “Launch” frameworks or aggressive upsells
• Over-engineered automation
This is a long-life practice, not a campaign-based business.
⸻
Ideal Freelancer
You are a good fit if you:
• Are genuinely comfortable with WordPress-first builds
• Have experience integrating email marketing tools into WordPress
• Understand non-salesy, trust-based websites
• Can explain trade-offs between tools clearly
• Build systems that clients can manage themselves
Experience with coaches, consultants, or professional services is a plus.
⸻
Deliverables
• Updated WordPress site (or clear list of changes applied)
• Fully functioning email capture + automation
• Tested booking flow
• Brief handover or documentation so I can manage it confidently
⸻
To Apply, Please Include
1. Examples of WordPress sites you’ve worked on (especially service-based or coaching)
2. Your experience with email capture tools (MailerLite or alternatives)
3. Your recommended tech stack for this project and why
4. Estimated timeline and pricing (project-based preferred)
5. How you typically support clients post-handover (if at all)
⸻
Timeline
Flexible, but ideally completed within 6–10 weeks.
⸻
I’m looking for someone who values clarity, simplicity, and fit over complexity.
If your instinct is to simplify rather than add tools, we’ll work well together.
