Website Migration and Optimization Expert
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I posted before, but contemplating. I have a website that I either need to migrate to squarespace or keep it at Wix. I never did anything with my wix website, So I took a class ,got certified to teach 'paint from your soul: they recommend following described below.
I currently want to provide a place to take payment, make the appointments, gather emails, and make freebie promotions to capture emails. Formely, my website was designed with professional that overcharged me. I can get tech help from people who designed the course I will advertise, but they only provide support for squarespace. They advocate this as it is simpler. Should I migrate as I don't use my website? Then I can get the help. SO essentially, I need help to migrate unless someone advocates I stay with wix/
What is your website for?
These are the 3 biggest things it does:
- Gathers email signups to build your email list
- Holds your freebie [on the thank you page so people can get it fast]
- Holds your sales page [which sends people to your checkout page]
We suggest that your website have these pages:
Main Navigation Bar.----- (MY WIX website has the homepage, about page)
- Homepage [general description of your offerings, your picture, signup form]
- About page [about YOU]
- Landing Page: Free Guide! [signup form] - This is optional if you have this on your homepage near the top.
- What is Paint From Your Soul? [Description of PFYS full of keyword rich phrases, your UVP, your elevator pitch, etc, to help with SEO and a link to your Sales Page]
- Contact information [contact form, your email address, location, phone, etc.]
Other pages [not on the nav bar]
- Thank you page with the Freebie link [People will go there right after they sign up]
- PFYS Event Sales page [updated all the time for your next event and with links to your checkout pages so people can register all the time]
NOTE: If you have an existing site, you can integrate those pages into your current site as long as the target audience is the same. My current website is awezentic.com. ( a wix site). the sample of what we need is pfys-testsite.squarespace.com. So essentially, I paid for aweznetic domain name and I would transfer that. or start with a new domain and maybe link to old website if I used it?
