Texas-Compliant School Marketing/Sales VA
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I run a trade school in Texas and need a dependable virtual assistant who can keep our online presence both engaging and fully aligned with the latest state regulations. Your core responsibility is to streamline our marketing and web operations while making sure every post, email, and webpage respects Texas education and privacy laws.
The day-to-day work will revolve around three areas:
• Social media marketing – Plan, create, schedule, and report on Facebook and Instagram campaigns that speak to parents and prospective students. I’ll lean on you for ideas that follow TEA guidelines and any new advertising rules that surface in Texas.
• Email campaigns plus calls, texts, and other outreach – Build segmented lists, design mobile-friendly newsletters, automate drip sequences, and track open/click rates. For outbound calls or SMS, I need legally compliant scripts and tracking so our admissions team can follow up.
• Website management – Update content (blog posts, policy pages, calendars), manage user accounts for parents and staff, and tackle the occasional WordPress/LMS technical hiccup. Experience with Canvas or Moodle is a big plus because that is where we host most coursework and parent portals.
To help us gauge fit, please outline:
1. Recent Texas-based projects where you navigated education or privacy laws.
2. The marketing tools you’re comfortable with (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, Twilio, WordPress, Canvas).
3. Your proposed workflow for pushing weekly social content, monthly email newsletters, and routine site updates.
I’d like to start with a two-week trial that includes:
• A one-week social calendar and scheduled posts.
• A single segmented email blast with performance stats.
• At least two website content updates and one minor technical fix.
If everything runs smoothly, this will become an ongoing role. Looking forward to seeing how you can keep our communications vibrant, parent-friendly, and 100 % Texas-compliant.
