Link Custom Email to Gmail
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I use a custom-domain mailbox hosted on FastComet and would like every message—incoming and outgoing—to flow through my main Gmail account. FastComet confirms SMTP access is available; if IMAP or POP3 can be enabled I’m open to using them, but SMTP is the minimum I know we have today.
Here’s what I need help with:
• Connect the FastComet account to Gmail’s “Send mail as” and “Check mail from other accounts” features, supplying the correct SMTP settings and any optional IMAP/POP3 details.
• Adjust or create the required DNS records at FastComet (MX plus SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so the domain passes authentication checks and avoids spam folders.
• Validate everything by sending and receiving test messages and showing the proper mailed-by / signed-by headers.
• Provide a brief hand-off note so I can redo the setup later if passwords or servers change.
Temporary control-panel access or a quick screen-share can be arranged—whatever makes the job smoother. Once you finish, I expect Gmail to fetch new messages automatically and let me reply from my branded address without any delivery warnings.
