Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Email Deliverability Specialist to manage and execute a large-scale email marketing campaign involving the delivery of 12 million emails over a 60-day period. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon SES (Simple Email Service), deep knowledge of email provider policies, and a strategic approach to avoid spam filters while maintaining high deliverability and sender reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a scalable email sending strategy using Amazon SES or equivalent platforms with established IP reputations.
- Structure and segment the email database to manage provider-specific thresholds (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo).
- Ensure gradual and consistent volume increases to avoid triggering spam flags, especially from non-consolidated or new domains.
- Implement IP rotation and other best practices to distribute the email flow intelligently.
- Develop or manage a system to monitor deliverability rates, bounce rates, spam flags, and overall sender reputation.
- Collaborate with developers (if needed) to integrate a custom email dispatch system or script to interface with Amazon SES.
- Maintain compliance with international email standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in large-volume email marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of email deliverability, spam filters, domain reputation, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Strong working knowledge of Amazon SES, including setup, request limit increases, IP warm-up strategies, and analytics monitoring.
- Ability to manage and automate segmented mail flows based on provider thresholds.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools or platforms to track the email flow and diagnose issues in real time.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude toward ensuring every email counts—qualified, delivered, and seen.
Nice to Have:
- Experience building custom email-sending applications or scripts.
- Familiarity with cloud server hosting and managing email infrastructure.
