Retrieve deleted work emails and text messages from my personal phone

I was released from a company and when I was released they went into my email and started deleting emails out that were incriminating that I could get them in trouble and I need to find somebody that knows how to retrieve those deleted emails from a work Gmail account. They also deleted text messages that were incriminating from my personal cell phone that had nothing to do with the company and I never signed anything stating that they could do any of this is there a way to retrieve these messages and emails?
