Get website support form to send email to client's google-workspace info @ account managed with Hestia control panel
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
Background:
This problem mysteriously arose about 6-8 weeks ago. We had made no DNS/MX or hosting/control-panel changes to cause it. One of the many google techs that we spoke with said that google implemented some new spam/phishing policies at about the same time the problem began.
* Client has a google workspace info @ business.com account. We followed google's standards in setting all DNS records, including 5 google-specific MX records.
* We use Hestia control panel to administer accounts, dns, websites, etc.
* We have developed their website using Laravel.
* I have implemented phpmailer to send email to the info@ account, also a couple @gmail.com accounts. We use phpmailer on many websites.
* Within Hestia we set up a no-reply account as the $smtp account using the host, password, port credentials.
Email gets delivered perfectly to any @gmail.com account but fails to reach the "info @ business.com" account. If I enable phpmailer debugging it indicates that the message was sent.
I also tried using Sendgrid.com, set up an sendgrid account, got it confirmed, updated the support form to use the sendgrid credentials, still failed.
The error is "info @ business.com, unrouteable address". I contact google workspace support. They have been unable to provide a satisfactory solution. They have said that we must change from Local to Remote mail exchange, however as far as I see Hestia control panel does not include that option. It must be determined automatically, I don't know.
Access:
I have admin access to the control panel and root SSH access to the website/files.
Project:
Solve the problem of making the contact form work to send email to info @ business.com.
Optional task - get command line mail/mailx working.
Bidding Requirements:
Bid on the project only if you have the required skills which include:
* google workspace
* experience with Hestia control panel
* experience troubleshooting email delivery
* optional - experience with Sendgrid
* optional - knowledge of phpmailer
Don't mention the word "Wordpress" in your bid. That will get you blacklisted.
Don't submit a spam/automated bid. Almost all bids received in the first 5 minutes fall into that category. This is not speed-bidding where the first bid wins. I will review the bids and start contacting the most promising after 24 hours.
Don't send us a copy/paste copy of your skills or a list of satisfied customers/projects. What we care about is that you the human being have read the project details and in your bid show that you understand the problem and can solve it.
