Email Migration and Setup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are looking for an experienced email migration expert to help us transition from our current Netcup email server to a professional email solution such as Google Workspace (Gsuite) or Zoho Mail. We currently use Thunderbird as our mail client and host our website on *WIX* (with A records pointing to Netcup).
Our requirements are as follows:
### *Scope of Work:*
1. *Email Backup:*
- Backup all emails from Thunderbird for 2 email accounts.
- Ensure no data is lost and all emails are securely preserved.
2. *Email Migration:*
- Set up new email accounts with Google Workspace (preferred) or Zoho (open to suggestions based on features and cost).
- Migrate backed-up emails to the new professional email platform.
- Ensure old emails are visible and accessible in the new system.
3. *Outlook Configuration:*
- Set up the newly migrated email accounts on Microsoft Outlook.
- Ensure seamless integration and syncing.
4. *Domain & DNS Configuration:*
- Update DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) from Netcup to the new email provider.
- Coordinate with WIX if necessary to ensure no disruption to the website or email delivery.
5. *Testing & Validation:*
- Send/receive test emails from multiple providers (Gmail, Outlook) to ensure emails land in the inbox (not spam).
- Verify functionality like calendar invites, meeting requests, and folder structure.
### *Expectations:*
- Smooth and professional migration with no data loss.
- Access to all old emails via Outlook after migration.
- Calendar invite functionality (especially for meetings).
- Reliable communication and timely delivery.
*Ideal Candidate:*
- Proven experience in email migration projects.
- Knowledge of Thunderbird, Google Workspace, Zoho, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with DNS settings, MX/SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration.
