Email Deliverability & List Cleanup
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My Squarespace Email Campaigns have sprung a leak— far too many messages are landing in spam instead of the inbox or at least Gmail’s Promotions tab. I need an experienced email-ops specialist to track down every source of friction, clean the data, and get my deliverability back on course.
Here is what I expect from the engagement:
Deliverables
• List hygiene: scrub every address that never opened an email, hasn’t engaged in six months, or has bounced.
• Automation sweep: review all key flows for spam-prone subject lines, risky language, and excessive links/images; recommend copy or layout tweaks.
• Reputation check: run blacklist look-ups and analyse deliverability signals, flagging anything that might require coordination with my ESP in the shared IP pool.
• Authentication audit: verify or repair SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, plus any auxiliary DNS entries that strengthen alignment.
• Unsubscribe optimisation: streamline the opt-out path to cut complaints and reroute quitters to a monetised exit page.
• Placement testing: iterate with GlockApps (or similar) until we hit the agreed inbox/promotions target.
• Landing-page shield: install the “Anti Spam Prevention Code” so only genuine opt-ins reach the list.
Tools you are comfortable with—Postmaster Tools, MXToolbox, GlockApps, SpamAssassin, Litmus, or other best-in-class diagnostics—are welcomed, as long as the final outcome is measurable and sustainable.
Acceptance criteria
1. Post-cleaning list size and engagement metrics documented.
2. Authentication tests pass with “aligned” status.
3. No major blacklist listings outstanding.
4. Deliverability tests show consistent inbox or promotions placement at the percentage we agree upon.
5. Working unsubscribe flow and functional anti-spam code live on the landing pages.
Most of the implementation access is ready: Squarespace backend, domain registrar, and my ESP console. Let me know your estimated timeline for each deliverable and the methodology you prefer. I am happy to answer any technical questions quickly so we can move fast and keep every legitimate subscriber exactly where they belong—inside the inbox.
