WordPress Fix – Remove Multisite & Make Single Site

Fix WordPress Setup (Remove Multisite, Make Single Site at www.moretravel.ca)

Description:
I currently have only one real website: www.moretravel.ca
.

The issue is that my WordPress installation is set up in multisite mode, and the “default” site is still the temporary Cloudways domain. This causes problems where some links (like “Home” or breadcrumbs) redirect to the Cloudways URL instead of www.moretravel.ca
.

Important Clarification:

I do NOT have two websites to merge.

I only need to remove the multisite setup and make www.moretravel.ca
the only and default site.

Tasks Required:

Remove multisite configuration so the site runs as a normal single WordPress site.

Make www.moretravel.ca the only default domain.

Run a database search-replace so all URLs point to www.moretravel.ca
.

Fix navigation (Home link) and breadcrumbs so they always point correctly.



Add a Services page with categories: Airline Tickets, Hotels, All-Inclusive Packages, Cruises, Travel Insurance (informational only, no booking engine).

Requirements:

Strong experience with WordPress + Elementor.

Familiarity with Cloudways hosting.

Proven experience removing multisite setups safely.

Must provide a backup/rollback plan to avoid downtime.

Deliverables:

Fully working single-site WordPress at www.moretravel.ca
.

All links, menus, and breadcrumbs pointing correctly.

New Services page live and mobile-friendly.
