WordPress One-page Website for Emergency Service
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
JOB DESCRIPTION
I’m looking for a WordPress freelancer to build a clean, professional one-page website for a local emergency trade service (e.g. emergency plumber).
This is not a creative design job. I already have a clear visual reference and direction. I’m looking for calm, accurate execution, not originality or experimentation.
The finished site should feel like a proper WordPress theme site (clean, trustworthy, UK-appropriate) while still conveying urgency and clarity.
CORE REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
Built in WordPress
Built using Elementor (for clean visual control and easy editing)
One page only (homepage used as the full site)
Clean white + blue aesthetic
Restrained use of red for CTA / urgency only
Strong hero section with:
image on one side
text + call-to-action clearly visible
No animations, no gimmicks, no “US infomercial” styling
Must be easy to edit and duplicate later for other services and towns
The goal is a finished, production-ready one-pager, not a concept or experiment.
VISUAL DIRECTION (IMPORTANT)
Clean, modern UK local service look
Calm, professional, trustworthy
Urgency through layout and CTA — not hype or flashy graphics
I will provide:
A visual mock-up / reference (for feel and structure, not pixel-perfect copying)
Copy or placeholder text
Colour direction
You are not expected to invent the design — only to implement it cleanly in Elementor.
REUSABILITY REQUIREMENT (VERY IMPORTANT)
The page must be built so that:
Services can be swapped easily (plumber → electrician, etc.)
Town/location text can be changed quickly
Layout remains consistent when duplicated
This site will act as a master template.
WHAT TO INCLUDE WITH YOUR PROPOSAL (IMPORTANT)
Please include:
Links or screenshots of 1–2 one-page WordPress sites you have already built, ideally for:
local services
trades
small businesses
Please do not send speculative mock-ups or new designs with your bid.
I’m looking for proof of real, buildable WordPress work, not concept art.
(Optional) After the job is accepted, I may ask for a very rough hero layout / wireframe before final build.
